Notes: First seen by Starfleet in the battle of sector 001, the Borg sphere is only slightly less destructive then the Borg cube, possessing the same technology as a cube the Borg sphere is lighter armed and has weaker defensive systems. It may be possible for an already weakened sphere to be destroyed by a well armed Starfleet vessel though engagement is not recommended. The Borg sphere can be reconfigured as a cube escape pod or to swallow a small starship for easy assimilation. Time travel capabilities have also been observed with this ship.
